About Us
At CurVi, we believe that even the simplest tools deserve thoughtful engineering and beautiful design.
Our story began over ten years ago, when engineer and designer Eddie set out to reinvent one of the most overlooked everyday tools — the nail clipper. Frustrated with the cheap, clunky clippers — prone to tearing, crushing, and breaking — Eddie saw an opportunity to apply his expertise and passion for precision engineering to something better.
From a small workshop in Harlow, Essex, Eddie spent years designing, testing, and refining what would eventually become CurVi. He sacrificed weekends, holidays, and countless late nights, working through prototypes. Every component of CurVi was designed bespoke — not a single off-the-shelf part — with one mission in mind: to create the finest nail clipper on the market.
Made from altra-lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminium and fitted with an ultra-hardened, diamond-sharpened steel blade, CurVi delivers an effortless, clean slice — no tearing, no crushing, no compromises. Built with sustainability in mind, CurVi uses minimal plastic and is engineered to last a lifetime. And, CurVi will last and last sharp. 50+ years of sharp perfection.
Today, we’re proud to share CurVi with you. It’s a small tool, it look different, yes, but one crafted with heart, precision, and purpose.
